The most famous submarine commander in the second World War..His U47 sinking about 190.000 ton under his flag.
Famous for sneeking in at Scapa Flow, the Britsch Naval Base and succed to sunk HMS Ark Royal and escape.
After that GP become a hero in Germany. In Mars 1941 U47 suddenly disappear and nobody WHOs until today was had happend. Probably had U47 hit a mine or been sunk of her own torpedo when it returns...
There is a lot of photos of the hero but not so many with his signature. A cerificate of orgin from Philip Military is also in my hands.
